At Grace all are welcomed, made comfortable, and above all – loved. Our family-focused ministries and events lift people up no matter the situation. Bishop Roland, First Lady June Hairston, and the congregation of Grace Apostolic Temple are passionate about providing a safe place for those who are broken and spiritually lost to both heal and find a deeper relationship with the Savior.
We seek to create and nurture quality relationships with individuals and families, and to enable everyone to experience the love of God within the fellowship of the family of God. Bishop and Dr. Hairston share a focused passion and unique skills and training to help those who are hurting mentally and emotionally, and who are seeking a relationship with Christ, to create lasting change, uplift their life, and bring healing to their spirit.
Uplifting the Community for Over 35 Years
Grace Apostolic Temple, affiliated with the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc. (PAW), is an apostolic church founded in July 1978 by Senior Pastor Bishop Roland E. Hairston, PsyD and First Lady June Summers Hairston, DD, PhC. For more than 35 years, Grace Apostolic Temple (GAT) has provided quality ministry services to the greater Seattle community.
What We Believe
| • | In the oneness of God - that there are three manifestations of the one God: Father in Creation, Son in Redemption, and the Holy Ghost in Regeneration. (I John 5:8) |
| • | The Holy Bible is the inspired, unadulterated Word of God. (II Tim 3:16) |
| • | The name by which God is known in this Age of the Church (Dispensation of Grace) is the Lord Jesus Christ. (Philip 2:9-10) |
| • | In the Virgin birth, death, burial and bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ and His soon return to catch away His Bride, the Church. (I Tim 3:16) |
| • | In the necessity of baptism by immersion in water in Jesus name according to Acts 2:38, and the infilling of the Holy Spirit according to Acts 2:4. This constitutes the new birth experience spoken of by the Lord Jesus Christ. (St. John 3:5) |
| • | In living a holy, consecrated, and sanctified life. (I Pet 1:15) |
